Took the Coronado loop the morning after our wedding. Kai walked us through every control in the lot for a solid ten minutes, and the bridge with the bay underneath was the best part of the whole trip.

Booked the 5:45 golden hour slot for Sunset Cliffs. We pulled over at the Ladera Street steps just as the sky went orange. The helmets had Bluetooth, which I did not expect.

Full day up the 101 to Encinitas. It came back a quarter tank down and they charged pump price per gallon, no mark-up games. Lunch at Swami's was our own idea.

My dad is 71 and rode passenger the whole La Jolla loop grinning at the sea lions. Pickup ran 4 minutes late and they took $15 off before we said a word.
Before you ride
The questions we get at the counter in Pacific Beach, answered straight.
The driver must be 21 or older with a valid, unexpired driver licence. Passengers must be at least 8 years old and tall enough to sit with feet flat on the floor. Saltroad checks ID at pickup in Pacific Beach.

Walk-ins welcome when a Slingshot is free, but golden hour slots go by Thursday.
